Retrosternal goitre,is defined as elongation of more than 50% portion of enlarged thyroid gland to the superior mediastinum through the thoracic inlet. Substernal goiter is a condition that should be treated surgically because it can lead to symptoms of compression, and can create a potential airway obstruction and considering the probability of malignancy. Here we aimed to report a case of retrosternal goitre submitted with the complaints of dyspnea,dysphagia,swelling on the head and neck and prominent of the anterior chest wall veins.
